Amerex Kitchen Suppression System Service

Amerex manufactures a full line of wet chemical kitchen fire suppression systems used in commercial cooking operations throughout Texas. Stephens Advanced provides semi-annual inspection and service for all Amerex suppression systems across Dallas-Fort Worth.

How Amerex Systems Work

Amerex wet chemical systems use a stored-pressure design with nitrogen pressurization. When activated by a fusible link or manual pull station, the system discharges a liquid wet chemical agent through nozzles positioned over protected cooking appliances. The agent simultaneously suppresses the fire and cools the cooking surface to prevent re-ignition. The system also triggers an automatic fuel shutoff to stop gas or electric supply to the cooking equipment.

Amerex systems are available in multiple tank sizes including 1.5 gallon, 2.5 gallon, 3 gallon, 4 gallon, and 6 gallon configurations to accommodate different kitchen sizes and appliance layouts.
