Ansul R-102 Inspection & Service

The R-102 is the most widely installed kitchen suppression system in the US. Stephens Advanced provides semi-annual inspection and service for Ansul R-102 systems across DFW.

How the R-102 Works

Uses Ansulex Low pH agent pressurized by a nitrogen cartridge (LT-10 single-tank, LT-30 multi-tank). Activated by fusible link or manual pull. Discharges through rubber blow-off cap nozzles and shuts off fuel supply.

What We Check

• Nitrogen cartridge weight vs stamped tare
• 12-year hydro date on cartridge
• Rubber blow-off nozzle caps
• Fusible links (replaced every inspection)
• Manual pull, cable travel, fuel shutoff, micro switch
• Full system activation from terminal link
